Prompt delivery at doorstep. I was a bit worried about the courier service as some couriers ask you to go and pick stuff up and during these Covid times not exactly something you want to do. I am hoping the UX for the package tracking gets improved for the site. What does make up for it is the choice of spares. This particular battery wasn’t being sold widely on Amazon so decided to put my faith in Lap Gadgets, which was retailing 1000K lower than other vendors. This is for a laptop that wasn’t bought in India, though luckily the battery is used across different Pavillion and Omen models. The battery product was packaged well enough. One layer of protective plastic, two layers of sponge placed in a cardboard box and then wrapped up in an outer cover.
My only worry was that the product doesn’t come in any HP branded packaging which was the only minor issue, though there is a HP logo on the product itself. I’m hoping its genuine. I am using this SR04XL in a HP HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx and it fits and works perfectly so far. The battery was already charged out of the box, so this is the first cycle.
HP is nice enough to have a service manual for their laptops. Get a hand on that if you have any doubts about opening up your laptop.

I was sent an sr03xl instead of the sr04xl which I wanted. This is still a working part of the same cost but is 50Wh instead of 70Wh. Annoying but it works and in this covid situation, I can’t be bothered to get it exchanged. order from Lapgadgets at first but the price and availability of the product compared with other websites and offline market , left me no choice. The packaging was perfect and the product worked perfectly fine. Although it “might” not be original , the quality was top notch. I also got additional coupons for which the price and delivery charge was even lower. It took a few days to deliver(There was an option for quicker delivery with additional charges). Overall a really good experience, 10/10 Recommended.

Product is genuine. The laptop doesn’t show that the battery is non-genuine on boot. Battery back up is same as original. Same battery was 6k at service center.
